5 Ways to Make your Dreams Happen
Make time to dream: Imagination is a powerful tool that you can use to envision what you want to achieve. Whether is for your personal relationship, family life, relationships with others, health and fitness, career, recreation or that holiday. Make time every day to visualise what you want!
Allow the creative process: As Walt Disney said, an important aspect of the creative process is incubation or allowing your dreams to ‘cook’. It’s important to give yourself the space and allow your dreams to keep processing in the background rather than getting impatient.
Clarify and distill your dreams: Start to distill your ‘big picture’ dreams and group them into the key theme areas of your life. Choose the ones that are important to you. Look out for the common thread and make connections. Create your own movie of exactly what you want and who you want in your life. Add in the details of how you feel, what you see, what you smell, what you hear or you are saying and what you taste. Make it a technicolour, 3D, visual simulation of your desired future.
Be specific: Create your own movie of exactly what you want and who you want in your life. Add in the details of how you feel, what you see, what you smell, what you hear or you are saying and what you taste. Make it a technicolour, 3D, visual simulation of your desired future.
Make it a habit: Practice imagining your desired future and your dreams every day. It’s as simple as that! Make time for your daily practice in your schedule for at least 10 minutes. More it you can. Remember this is for you and your future.

Are you ready for 2012?
With only four days to go until the New Year are you ready? Have you reflected on 2011: what you achieved, what you could have done better, what you learnt and what could have been avoided? It’s a great time for self-reflection so you can gain insights that you can apply when you are defining your dreams and goals for 2012.
New Year’s Eve is a great time to have spring clean of all the old stuff, all the outdated beliefs and habits that no longer serve you. Clear out the old to make way for the new possibilities and opportunities. Start to think about what you really want your New Year to look like, what you’d like to experience, achieve and learn.
How will your relationship with yourself be? What level of health would you like? Where would you like to live? What would you like to be doing as a career or job? How will your family life be? Who will be your friends? Will you have a holiday or travel? How wealthy will you be? What sports or hobbies will you start?
Consider each aspect of your life. Be clear and specific. Define the steps that will take you towards your desired outcomes and goals. Write this down and review it daily to keep on track. Then take action!
“By creating inner value we send the message to ourselves that we are in fact worthy of receiving all we desire, being what we aspire to be and doing all the things we dream of”. Illira Margaritis 2011
